Alysha and I have been saying for some time, we need to give back. We have found an organization that we would like to help: Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

ABOUT SLEEP IN HEAVENLY PEACE
Sleep In Heavenly Peace (www.shpbeds.org) is a national organization that has helped over 200,000 kids get a bed of their own.  Formed in January 2024, the Cincinnati East Chapter (www.shpcincy.org) is a group of hard-working volunteers dedicated to working with other volunteers to build, deliver and assemble top-notch ready-to-sleep-in twin beds and bunk beds to children and families in need.  In Hamilton County alone, there are over 2000 kids waiting for a bed.

THE INVITE
Each family to sponsor a portion of a bed during the build. Each bed costs $250 for the supplies to make the bed and to purchase the bedding. IF ABLE, we ask that your family make a $125 donation (but any amount helps) to help purchase the supplies to make beds and join us on the build day to put all the beds together!

THE EVENT
Sponsored by the The DeCurtins Team, the SHP Build Day will be held on Saturday, June 22 from 8:45 AM – 12:30 PM. We will meet at ERA Anderson where SHP Team Members will set up and walk us through building the beds. Together we plan to make 20-25 beds for children who need a place to sleep. Please join us and bring your family to be a part of this “make a difference” event! We will have some light breakfast options and drinks throughout the morning.  Note: You can sign up to help with delivering the beds on a later date!

TIMING
Complete your donation Wed, June 12 for contributions and your registration for participation – we only have room for 50 adults and kids.  Since we need to order and pay for materials (lumber package) in advance we appreciate your financial support. Thank you for joining us!
